There are a fair few posts about this already if you use the search option. But yes, the new test is looking like a catastrophic failure backing up tests till around Nov. And not all test centres will be able to do the new test so theres even less test centres now.. Used to be one near me about 5 minutes away but the closest new test centre will be about an hour and a half away lol.

The news from my instructor is very good, he gave me a call today to confirm my lessons tomorrow.

He said the layout does not make it very taxing at all, good clutch control is essential and making sure your speed is right on the Emergency stop, if its not they will make you go back and redo it but will only give you 1 more attempt.

The avoidance excercise he said was quite simple. What he did say was confidence will be the key for many learner bikers, you need to lean through the avoidance and bring to a controlled stop.

Will find out more tomorrow.

I think what Shug is getting at is that Norn Ireland, as usual, doesnt follow the Mainland in the rules. Whilst the 2 part test is coming, purpose built test centres aren't (in the near future) and we don't have a requirement for CBT (until 2010). Maybe that puts a different slant on potential answers? Very Happy
