I've just sold my ZZR250 to my Dad, although it occurred to me at this point that the V5c hadn't shown up yet, so I called the DVLA and after about 20 minutes of shitty music they answer to tell me the last owner hadn't bothered to send the V5 to them. They told me it will take 2 - 4 weeks for the new V5 to arrive, I'm sceptical to be honest, anyone had any experience with them sending V5's out?

Last 3 project bikes i've bought either haven't had a logbook or the owner didn't send it off. Nothing to be worried about just wait the time and it shall come Smile

Had one come through the door today infact which the previous owner didn't send off Smile

I've just enquired about my TZR logbook as that hasn't arrived yet and it's been 3 weeks. They said there is a form you can fill in if the previous owner didn't send it off or it got lost in the post.

Yeah I just sent them a V62 with the new owners slip. So hopefully it'll turn up some point this year so I can put it in my Dads name. I don't feel confident it'll be swift though Laughing.

That'll get 'lost in the post' and then you're fucked Laughing
