Depends what you want it for. Personally, iphone despite the flaws such as no mms and shit camera. Mine became pretty indespensable when I went for a mini tour up to Scotland last weekend.

GPS and googlemaps helped when we were lost as well as bring up where nearest petrol stations were.

Nothing better in its class for web browsing. Came in handy for looking ahead for B&B's and even booked a hotel in Edinburgh sat in a Service Station.

Video is awesome on it due to the screen, iplayer is particular good.

Cant argue with unlimited/uncapped data on the tariffs either.

Battery life isnt too great though, ive got around 3 days off one charge but if you start using the apps and ipod a lot on it expect the battery to last a day.

I wasnt sold on it at first and decided not to get the first gen one, then my motorola broke and there was nothing else i really fancied. But the more i use it the more i love it. The spec is pretty low but apple being apple seem to be able to produce excellent results with low spec hardware via their operating systems, and thats what you are paying for.

iphone is so good looking and the internet is really quick and clear for a phone but poor battery life always ruins a phone

It's one of those things though i wouldnt really class it as a phone as the phone feature of it is really a small part. If you use it predominantly as a phone then the battery life isnt really any different to any others on the market. If you start using the GPS and wifi then it'll sap it pretty quick. Believe the N95 is similar?

Wouldnt say its fiddly either, interface is very intuitive, my 4 year old sister can pick it up and figure out how to do stuff on it in a few minutes.
