Bedding in new boots

Hi,

I bought some new bike boots last night for £45 (special offer), they're great, very comfy etc, only thing is that they're a bastard to get on.

My foot goes into them fine, but doing the zip up is a pain (it does do up eventually) and stretching the velcro round to fasten up is a bit of an arse, too.

They are leather, so I'm assuming they should loosen up after a while?

I bought them as they're the only ones I've seen that fit me even in the slightest (I have huge calves) and they were cheap

Normally takes me about 1 month of daily riding.

I find I can't change gears properly at first and I have no feel whatsoever.
