Ok this weekend I want to purchase a TV for my bedroom, has to be wall mountable and I want to spend around £300. I've seen a 26inch accoustic solutions one in Argos for £280, click here.

I was aiming more for a 32inch though if I can, cheapest argos do is the same as above but a li'l bit bigger and £80 more expensive (6 inches for £80?).

So is the accoustic solutions one any good?

Primarily it will be used for playing PS3 and possibly some high def films*.

not a great contrast ratio,

i.e. new, decent samsungs are 20,000:1, this controls the blacks i believe so its quite important for gaming,.

checkout ajelectronics.co.uk i got my lcd from them for a reasonable price

Got a 32" AS TV at Christmas.

Not as good as my Philips but not bad and good value for money.

Don't use it for playing games though.

Oh and really high contrast ratios will be 'dynamic contrast' I believe (google for explanation), which isn't quite the same.

well, its not really 6 inches for £80, its more like 120-ish square inches for £80 quid Razz (rough, in my head maths guesstamation incase anyone ACTUALLY does the maths for it)

I actually bought that tv a while back, and it's been great for watching movies, TV, putting my PC up to it and playing my 360 in HD - it looks great. You can get a glass stand cheap in a bundle I think with it too?

Can it be wall mounted?

It's an essential requirement as my wall isn't that big so I want it off the ground not taking up space.
