If i sent something back to a seller on ebay that wasnt correct and she agrees to a refund before so and now claims to have not recieved it what do I do? I have proof of postage and it was posted last Monday. She took ages in answering me thought kept sending me messages looking feedback which I explained i would leave when it was sorted out.

have i lost my refund then since she says she has not got it? i have the post office recipts and it was sent recorded. she has 100% feedback also so not like she has a string of people saying she has done this. Maybe she is starting now I dont know.

kiss good bye to my money or what?

If it was sent recorded then you could check it via the royal mail website to see if she has genuinely not received it.

As said already you sent it recorded so you have a signature of the person that received it.

Stick your number in here and see what it says.

My dad has the recipt as he sent it for me. The post office say its not garenteed delivery . There are things I got inthe post that are meant to be recorded and they just chuck it on the door step without signing or handing it over. So maybe they do this in England also Confused

You could claim compensation off RM from the loss on Rec Del.

Often RD is not signed for if its sent to a company as it may be all picked up by the sackfull.

But if its been signed for then get back to the seller and tell her that, then open a ebay dispute and if payed via PP one with them as well.

Just called my dad he didnt post it recorded like i asked him just over the counter and thats the recipt he meant Twisted Evil Rolling Eyes think my dads getting to old or something. But now it looks like she may have won? all i have is the counter recipt. Was posted first class last monday.

bet she got it and seen that and claims she didnt get it. I rather have either the goods of the money not nothing at all.

everyready I recived today something that was meant to be signed for and it was on my door step when I got up. They always do that here. Waste of money recorded if your postment dont do their job.

Look at the details on Royal Mail's website about how to claim for things which go missing in the post. There's a maximum of something like £36 for how much you can claim.

But is hasn't gone missing in the post, the seller has received it and is just telling you they haven't because it was sent in the normal post so completely untraceable meaning you can't do anything through Paypal. With tracking numbers you can get money back through Paypal if you paid using it. Smile

Trust me they do here. There is a big sticker on envelops that say "sign for" and they dont. Jut leave it on your door step or even hand it to you. My mate sent me stuff recorded and I asnt asked to sign. But then again I see post men ay 9pm at night where I am. They must just do their jobs right in England.

Tell her if she 'didn't get it' that you're going to leave negative feedback regardless, stating she's lying.

Ruthless and merciless if she's telling the truth, but odds are she isn't. In which case she'll suddenly get it. Fancy that! Laughing

I was thinking that. Didnt want to ruin her nice 100% she has in her 450 sales. But I will if I have to.Mt guess is also she will have recieved it then. I know she got it Evil or Very Mad will give it to the end of the week then see what she says.

Well who knows, maybe she is bad and all the positives were left before any issues were fixed.

How much is the item worth and what was wrong with it.

Personally i would not leave feedback till it was sorted. And keep a eye out for the item comming back up for sale, some are daft enough to try that.....

It wasnt dear thats why I aint totally raging but I prefer the money in my pocket again rather than hers. It was a bra Embarassed it was totally wrong size she sent and she was happy to take it back and refund. Was quick telling me that to and now she barely answers. keeps sending me emails for feedback though which I stated I wasnt leaving until refund. Then she said she never recieved it. So give her a few more days, she def should have gotten it by now. Then I will have to go in for the kill.

Also I am waiting for another item that was posted last week from someone else who took days on answering and I havnt recieved that and its apparently posted. Confused Will ask ho they posted that one. A bout of ebay bad luck for me I think. These are from 100% ebayers! the fan tray I got I actually didnt expect to get as he had negs for not posting and faulty stuff and mine was fine.

if paid for by paypal sign in
and start a dispute throgh paypal they have loads of options on the dispute opening like damaged goods, broken, recieved late etc.
Might either get you somewhere or might scare the seller into giving you a refund to close the dispute.

Well this worked. The other day she said she dosnt get her post till 13.30pm as she is in an office building I sent her a message stating I thought she had it again and would just have to leave bad feedback. she answered less than an hour later said she got it at 10am and refunded it right away! So apparently first class envelopes take near two weeks to deliver. Rolling Eyes I know she had it . Also says i have one item to pay for on my account, is that normal after a refund? its on my paypal as a transaction but its not on my card or on balence yet. Neutral

wow this was lucky, a similar thing has happend with me recently and wanted suggestions. since im moving away im selling off all my old games as i no longer play them. Sold 5 or so on the first day of putting them up, went to post office and sent them all first class on friday 29th at 4:30pm, not recorded as i thought the receipt saying proof of postage actually meant post of postage :S.

anyway they guy filed a complaint on monday morning stating that the item has not been received and i told him it probobly wont be with him till monday or tuesday and that it could be longer if there was a problem and the post office dont consider items lost until 15 days have passed.

now he's making claims on paypal that im trying to steal money from him and never sent the item because i dont have a tracking number which iv'e told him you dont get on basic first class postage.

I've told him to wait till the weekend at least incase it has just been delayed, some of the items i sent arrived the saturday and others arrived only today. Because of this im now doing it recorded for everything as i have no way of knowing if he's just lied or actually hasnt received the item.

I know for a fact that i got the address right as its street was warwick avenue the same as that song thats always on so stuck in my mind and post code was correct.

any idea's what to do? hetz's idea seems gd but this guy wont really care about poor feedback if he's only got 1 already, also sellers cant give neg feedback.

the guy had 0 feedback and was a new member as well.

Or he might be a cunt and will rob you of your money, nothing you can do.
NEVER send anything to anyone on ebay that isnt trackable.

On the other hand I've had loads of parcels that are sposed to be signed for and he just opens my front door and puts them in. If I was to claim that i never got them Royal mail would have to fork up becuase the stuffs 'not been delivered.'
