Hi,

I've tried everywhere to get hold of a repair/maintenance manual - Haynes, the showroom I bought my bike from, even Honda themselves. Drawn a blank on every occasion.

The only manual Haynes do is for an NS125 but that only goes upto 1993 so I'm guessing it would be as much use as an instruction manual for a toaster.

Any help/advice welcomed. Smile

The NS is a compeltly different bike, so don't bother.
I have manuuals on my webspace for the early NSR125Rs... similar engine etc to the latest one but still a few differences.
Best bet is to ring honda parts centre's (look in the back of MCN). Expect to be paying upto £50 for a factory service manual though, sometimes more.

Carnells/Motorcycle City/Riossi once quoted me £90 for an official workshop manual, but they also got really weird about it (no change there then)...luckily, my phone cut out in the middle of the conversation and I just didn't bother answering his call again Razz

Thanks for the replies.

Oddly enough, it was Carnell/Riossi that I bought the bike from. I didn't like to namedrop, but you did, so I might as well too. Wink

They said they'd look into the availability of maintenance manuals and give me a ring 'tomorrow'. That was about 3 months ago. Crying or Very sad

I have been told by a former NSR125 owner that he had a manual that he paid £80 for although he couldn't remember how/where he got it. So I wasn't expecting it to be cheap.

Just suppose, in a fit of stupidity, I decided to pay a silly amount of money for this thing - where could I go to get it from?

For my ZX6, most places were asking £50 for a manual, rung around a bit and got one for £25ish.

Seeing as this site is linked from nsr125.com.. if you find somewhere doing them cheapish you could ask if you can get a discount for the site... quite a few people having gcome through here asking so obviously it would be benifical for them to be pointed to when we get asked Smile
