Encryption? does anyone use it and if so why worry.
We encrypt all laptop drives on the fly and secure wipe all disposals with Dariks Boot and Nuke.... For pen drives we use IronKeys -www.ironkey.com

All latops also have Computrace. This means if detected after the theft we can either make bios pop ups apear with what we want, delete folders, remove partitions etc.....

Thing is, they've probably lost hundreds and hundreds of things with peoples info on, encrypted or not, it's just something the media has latched onto recently so are digging up everything they can. Besides, like I said in another thread, everyone puts more personal info on facebook through choice than is ever on these things so why worry.
