The best of a bad bunch in my humble opinion. But they are changing the name to 'Absolute Radio'.

I don't see the point and the name is shite. Yet you would think from the texts and calls they recieve that all of their listeners love the new name.

Things like 'absolute' and 'complete' or 'total' are usually followed by 'weed control' or 'IT Office Solutions' etc

Any Virgin listeners in? What do you think?

... and you see, I think R1 & Kiss are full of MOBO shit for dead-headed teenagers that need to be told what to like in order for them to be liked by other dead-headed teenagers.

Stupid name, do they state what they hope to achieve with the change? but then Virgin 'anything' has always struck me as a crap name, yet seems to be doing ok for itself financially.

When I was working in London driving I think it was number 4 on the preference list, depending on how shite the other tunes were that were being played on the other stations.

Radio 2
Smooth
X-Fm
Virgin if they all fail.

Radio 2 would be a very tolerable station throughout the day if they dropped that stupid muppets music quiz at 10.30 and the Jeremy Whine show at midday.

Cannot stand Radio 1, for any period of time, would rather sit in silence. Tight jeaned bohemian shite, or RnB dross. No ta.

They have to change the name cos they want to branch out into other businesses which 'Virgin' may already be associated with.

Virgin Radio hasn't been owned by Beardy Branston for quite some time.

I will listen to any radio station providing Sarah F@#KING Cox isn't on it. She is properly properly annoying. She only talks about her dog or sprog. I can't believe she still manages to get on the radio. Urghhhhhhhhhh! /tears hair out/

/rant/

Virgin Radio = Stupid name
Absolute Radio = Stupid name

We have to have virgin on the radio on fridays at work, and I was genuinely angry at the amount of times I had to hear, "Virgin radio, soon to be absolute radio". Especially when it's being said by a dirty old lesbian sounding woman talking slowly as if her intention is to sound sexy, eurgh.
