It looks like a non-biker solution to a problem that doesn't really need addressing.

Fucking hell that is Fugly...
loliage!

Seriously though am I the only person here who sees this for what it is?
Obviously the concept needs to be further developed with alot of R&D and the like, but I like the idea.

I am however very doubtful that we'll see any finished product to be an instant sucsess.
It would need to be integral to the visor,
I guess it would have to run on coasters to be effective and as such it will eventually become a very figidty, fragile and expensive product Neutral .

Its dangerous. It provides sharp edges on a helmet that is designed to have none. I'd rather not have sharp shards of perspex penetrate my helmets shell and impale me through the face thanks.

I just use hawaiian stick anyway tis much better.

Rainblade design specification

1) Must be made out of a melted wheelie bin
2) Sole purpose must be to make the wearer look like as much of a complete fucking weapon as possible

A quick dab with a Rain-X wipe before you leave the house, and you've no need to worry about rain blocking your vision. Water just rolls off the visor without any need to intervene - at most you just need to flick your head to the side slightly to let the windblast sweep any stubborn droplets away.

Wow aerodynamics of a brick. i bet it feels great at anything over 50 with that flat screen at the front.

Tescos beeswax polish does the trick. rain just beads and runs off.

If i saw someone with that i'd probably crash from laughing.

I know a couple of people who'd be the type to use one of these... They're the kind of engineer-pedants you occassionally get, the fact that it makes them look like a total monkey is irrelevant because "its actually really very practical and quite useful..."

Frankly, at speed, I reckon it would just fly off. I've tried to attach a camera to my helmet and no amount of any straps/rubber bungies or anything else would keep it on... Rolling Eyes

Its a shame because rain and visor fogging are my least favourite aspects of using two wheels...

Thumbs Up

(Might try that beeswax polish idea though...)
