Im looking for a bike, prefferably an enduro bike. Something that is needing work, for a little thing to do on the side over time.
I want to be able to take it out sometimes on the road and have a play, doesn't have to be pretty.
I was thinking of a RMX250 but these seem rare as rocking horse shit now.

Any ideas, or even better, has anyone got something?
Looking to spend less than £600

A xr250 would probably run with a teacup for a piston.

They're propper bulletproof. My 400 has done 3 years of commuting all year and off roading with never being cleaned. I even rode the shit out of it with no cam chain tensioner (because i was poor at the time) and it didn't blow up.

Yes it wore a bit out of the rocker arms and cams from crap, 3 year old oil, but it still ran sweet. (tesco's own oil by the way Mr. Green )

That's a good question. Razz

Its needing a fork seal doing but that's no big deal. Also, it's needing the spark plug thread fixing. And there could be some damage to the engine from when running it with spark pug thread damaged.

This is the bike, but every time it's been swimming it's been running again shortly after. Wink

It's a jap import with leccy start, they go for 1k+ on fleabay in good condition cos they seem to be popular with commuters, but this doesn't run so it's worth a bit less than that lol.

If anyone is actually interested in it then I can go have a look through my garage and see what spares I've got to go with it? Not too sure on price cos at some point I was going to put it on eBay and see what it went for.
