URGENT Help Needed! MOT Check.

Hi, I have to ride my Suzuki SV1000s tomorrow from Ramsgate to Burghead, Morayshire tomorrow.

I own the bike, the registration number is GN03 XDH, it's silver. It has tax until 02/09, and insurance til end of this year. I know this, however, I don't when the MOT is due. I have no idea where the MOT certificate is, and I don't know where my V5 is!!

I've phoned the police who don't know, but I bet if I rode it, they'd soon tell me!!!

Can someone PLEASE tell me if it has MOT!

Have a look on https://www.motinfo.gov.uk/

All you'll need is the Reg number and the reference number off your V5C Certificate, will give you full details of the MOT certificate.

I have no idea where my V5 is either. I've only just moved to Scotland, and everything's in boxes everywhere.

Well, i phoned my mot place, and i am out of mot. I'm here sat at Gatwick, wondering how i'll get back to inverness.

Not having an MOT is not an endorseable offence. You would get a £30 fine a slapped wrist and done for any defects iirc.

I had a shagged rear tyre, that's worth 3 points, and with no MOT with ANPR, sods law says I would have got caught.

Fwiw, I started my journey back (with a MOT) at 7pm, and got here at 7am!
