i have a 2001 r6,everytime i fire it up from cold (everytime) water comes from exhaust AND leaks from the link pipe connection to exhaust on the floor.its like a little puddle of water.im a bit worried its doing this everytime from cold when i fire it up.it goes away once the bike is warm etc... but dont quite know why its doing this all the time.ok maybe once or twice due to condensation etc.. but its everytime.it did not use to happen just started recently
your answers will be greatful
i heard it could be a head gasket problem

Keep a eye on your coolant level, put a sticker on your expansion pipe of where it is, then check next day etc, if its going down its headgasket.

If it is the head gasket, you could check the oil, it will turn milky white if water gets into it.

Failing that you can get a chemical that goes in to a sample of coolant which will change colour if combustion gasses are present, look for a coolant sniffer.

IIRC check to make sure it isn't water coming out of the overflow pipe as it's pretty close to the exhaust drain hole.
