In the manual it states that the generator is at 5000 revs min, does this mean the battery doesn't charge till it hits 5000 revs?

i think it means, rev the bike at 5k revs and then put a battery tester onit

Hi

Guess what is confusing you is "min". Means minute not minimum.

I would suspect that is either the point at which it is fully into its stride charging, or the point at which it should be tested.
