Y'ello!

The is mechanically sound, but as I resprayed it myself, the finish isn't shiiiny, but most of the people who have seen the bike quite like the matt-ish finish. Certainly unique.

I live in Bristol (and the bike is there too), so you'll either have to get your arse down here, or I can arrange for a courier (at extra cost though, I'm afraid.

"Bad" bits are:
MOT and Tax run out in May, but I can get a new MOT for you, but it only costs £15, and it will pass again.
Rear tyre only has about a few hundred miles left in them, but a new one (Michelin Pilot Sport) shouldn't be *too* much.

Email me at: [email protected] if you're still interested.

Cheers,

Oh yeah, here's some of the "good" bits about it Razz

8300 miles
(effectively) 1 owner since import
Raynor Rearsets
Double bubble
Race can + standard
Single seat converter

I've certainly had no problems with the bike (none of the dreaded electrical gremlins that you keep hearing about).

Another "bad" bit: the speedo needle is a bit disabled, but the odo/trip counters are still recording mileage, so no loss there. However, I do have a replacement, working, speedo, but the odometer reads 30k+ Kms, so I haven't bothered to fit it yet. The speedo can be fixed (it's just a little coil behind the needle that needs re-winding), but I just haven't gotten around to it.

The price definately reflects the fact that I'm not trying to pass this bike off as "mint", or at least by my standards it isn't.

For the courier, the one that I recommend charges £150, but I will be willing to pay a bit of that if you're still interested.

Cheers,

Tin

what do you reckon about £1600 with the padock stand and the courier charge. What do you mean by not mint too? aslong as cosmetically it looks fine and i am not too bothered about the matt finish then i will be able to fix the speedo needle etc.

Let me know????

£1600

That means that you pay £50 of the courier charge. You know it makes sense.

I fya not happy with that then you tell me what more you was looking for. You can have the money by the end of the week if ya decide soon, not rushing you mate i just want a bike with a bit of power. Couple of questions.......
What reg?
Top speed etc?
Is it restricted?

Ok, more specs:

L-reg (1994) *special plate for l33t geeks* Smile
top speed: about 135mph
carb restrictions: no
speedo restriction: bypassed with kph->mph converter

I've emailed you about the "package" that I will include for the £2600. As for pictures...erm, are there any particular angles/areas that you want? I fully understand why you want them, so it isn't a problem...but it would help if you could tell me what you want.

As for sooner the better, I agree, the main sticking point is the MOT, which I may not be able to do until Saturday (I don't get home until 6), but if you really are that serious, then I'll see what I can do.

Cheers,

Tin

No, as I've said, I fully understand, and it's a lot of money to me too!

I've actually got 2 number plates - one is slightly more legal than the other, but the "illegal" one isn't too stoopid (it's the one in the pictures, actually).

I don't think that there are any actual "scratches", but there are areas which don't look too tidy in the "right" light, but certainly nothing to be worried about. You are still getting a lot of value for your money.

I'll see when I can get the MOT done, and when the bike can be collected/delivered.

As for the email - I just clicked the "reply" button, and it does indeed show the email you've got there. I've actually sent 2 emails to you so far, have you not received either of them?

OK, I forgot to mention that outgoing email server uses [email protected], rather than [email protected]. Sorry.

Well, I'm off home now, so I'll email you in about 45 mins!

Did you get my email, Wez?

If not, then could you please email me your post code, so that I can get an idea on when the courier can collect/deliver.

Cheers,

Sorry, could you email your full postcode to me? You'll need to give me your address eventually so that the courier knows where to deliver to!

As for insurance, I was paying £319 TPO...and that was 22 with 1 yrs NCB, and licence for less than 1 yr. £800 should be more than enough, even for TPFT.
