When you reapply for your licence it will be clean. TT99 is the ban code for 'totting up' of 12 (or 6 if within first 2 years of first licence) points.

But you will have to declare your ban to your insurance company.

How could you not realise you were speeding? especially on a small CC bike. 50mph feels really fast compared to 30mph which feels really slow.

If you had any sense of speed you could have just slowed down to a crawl when going past the speed cameras.

I would think it's 99.9% impossible that you will get let off.

Check the speedo drive worm or gear at the front wheel isn't worn. If it's not that then the speedo itself could be needing replacement.

But how would you know.

Saying that if I put my Tom Tom in the car , it shows the speed as well, which is always less than what the car is going.
