hi,
best place for new, genuine /pattern honda parts david silver.
not the cheapest though.
& sickpup for brakes & stuff.
but if its decent second hand parts for that vfr of yours, i can give you the name of a guy in germany (of all places! lol) who specialises in these things. (just pm me if your interested)
as an example i got original unmarked petrol tank, both side fairings ,oe shocker (in remarkably good condition),front cowling & headlight, rear cowling & tail light & a decent rear subframe for around 200 quid & postage of around 40 quid.(bearing in mind this was a big heavy box, ordered on sun night & arrived on sat morning)
which i thought was ok, considering i could just polish them up & stick them on the bike!
(bearing in mind this was a huge, heavy box)
& the plastics were in the original usa colours which i couldnt find in the uk.
ebay.de is always good for this bike as well.
& if you have the links to on line parts fiche that always helps to get part no's.(cmsnl etc, but dont buy from there!)
cheers,
GAZ |

You can always MAKE parts fit your older bike ,quite often it is just the connector or the holes for mounting that are different. Which you can drill and use quite reasonably...
I know a bloke with an NTV600 and he made a VFR750 fairing fit , its not perfect but it works... ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. Sorry to hijack this thread, I would appreciate your recommendations for either Honda genuine parts or New Old Stock?
I'm looking for a water pump drive shaft for a Honda MTX200 (same as on an early MTX125 / MBX125) - Part No. 19230KE1000.
Honda have discontinued it, so it's down to dealers who might still have one in stock. So far I've tried with no luck -
David Silver - https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/parts/
Lings - https://www.lings.com
CMS (Netherlands) - https://www.cmsnl.com/
f-w-css (Germany) - https://www.f-w-css.de/
Any other recommendations for either UK or abroad (I'm told that there are good places in Asia)?
Thanks in advance. |

Have you tried Part Finder?
I had some luck finding discontinued bits with them recently. ____________________ A Guide To Powerbands |

Thanks for the post. I've just given it a go now.
I'm beginning to feel like I'm searching for "Fly Fishing by JR Hartley" (for those that can remember the Yellow Pages advert)
Anyone else got a recommendation for Honda parts / NOS? |
