SOME LOW LIFE BAST*RD STOLE MY BIKE

its a yamaha dt125r in blue
reg is- VAZ 9424
i am based in sheffield but the bike could be anywhere.

i was only covered on third party only so i dint get no money back what so ever Crying or Very sad

the worse bit is i have just paid £237 for new tires, chain and sprocket, plate number, break pads, lights, labour MOT & TAX just 2weeks ago !
and some f*cking *SS HOLE nicked it!

i did have a chain wraped around the backwheel and around the swing arm, had the steering lock on, and a disk break on the front wheel.

what i dint do is chained it around a lampost or something so im guessing someone has lifted it up and put it in a van and drove off.

please if you come across someone trying to sell a dtr if you could let me know on here or on 07986788812

*£100 reward if you have any info leading to the bike *

thanks, Tristan

Keep an eye on ebay in case whoever nicked it is stripping it down and flogging the parts.

I saw a blue DT being ridden along the pavement by two chavs with no helmets on today in Shadsworth in Blackburn.

I did let the police know. However I doubt it's yours, as it's the other side of the pennines for a start. It had no plates and may have even just been a field bike.

I did the exact same thing bud and it was the same bik, i learnt a valuable lesson.

My advice is, tell the police. And then do their job for them.
I knew the likely places it could be, went round them with the old man...go to local fields, council estates and their garages. It's likely it hasn't gone to far mate, its being used by scum.

Good luck Thumbs Up

Jeez, what a bummer. Sorry to hear that, hope you get it back, however unlikely that is. Sad

Probably won't end up this far down the country, but i'll keep my eyes open just in case.

Good luck, mate.

quite possibly one of THE most ever stolen model of bike, they're renowned for it.

no doubt it'll be being used at an old quarry, fields, motorcross track.

sorry, but what good will a Datatag do once it's loaded into a van and gone?

hefty chain and ground anchors are all you need.

wow thanks alot people i really appriciate what you are all doing, hopefully i will get her back, but the chances are just close to zero, but ya never know.

and i definatly learnt a very harsh lesson there.
and a big loss Crying or Very sad

took me years to save up for her Crying or Very sad

someone told me yesterday that they might have seen my bike so i quickly got my dad to drive me there,

kept my ears open and herd a couple of bikes, we came across about 3 pitbikes riding on the rd, and so i quickly got on the fone to the local police but we never actually saw my bike and the police never actually came... Sad

i was told by the police that if i ever get any info about my bike ring the crime number as soon as possible and they will send the police down, did exactly that but didnt see any signs of police at teh scene Eh? Thinking

thanks anyway for all yoru help and advice. Thumbs Up

Well put them off nicking it in the first place is the idea.

Ahh shit mate thats unlucky, the Police are as useful as a 3rd tit in situations like this, they tend to do fuck all, they would rather do someone for going 4mph over the speed limit than try and track down a stolen bike.

Hope you get it back, will keep an eye out for it on eBay etc.

My zzr was datatagged and chained with a shitty aldi lock and they still took it and set it on fire when they finished with it. My next bike will have decent chains and locks (at least 3), scum and joyriders don't give a shit about a datatag.

sorry to hear about your bike being nicked,

I had a cg go missing out of my garden a few years back,
I didn't realise it was gone for about a fortnight Embarassed I had hardly ever used it since i bought it as i had another bike at the time so it was just a sort of garden feature.

i was sweeping the garden path the one day and thought to myself "hmmm there should be something there Confused ", the worst part is i saw some kids thrashing round on one a few days before, and realised after it was actualy my bike Sad .

I wouldn't say they do fuck all, they will recover it for you if they find it and then charge you the recovery fee and storage charges,

That is of course if they don't confiscate it of someone and then just dispose of it rather than checking if it's actualy stolen.

I kid i know had his bike nicked and then about a week later he found it in a scooter shop for sale with a different reg on, he reported it to the police who said he was not allowed to collect it himself they had to do it so they could check for prints etc, then when they had finnished with it charged him £150 to get it back out of the police compound.
