Hi. In a few posts I have mentioned that I'm quite a big guy. Well, another feature of me being big is that I have size 13 (!) feet. I've been looking for a while for bike boots/shoes, but they all seem to only go up to 12.

Does anybody know of anywhere that sells v big boots?

cheers,
Loz

I've just got kitted out with leathers and boots - I'm only a size 12 but Got some Sidi Evolution jobbies and they go up to size 13 if not bigger. Fit well and look very smart, I've got quite big calfs and have no problem. Don't know where you're based but I got these from DH autos in Newcastle-under-Lyme. (cost £112 mind) but will be cheaper than custom made.

found a place on the web that sells up to size 50 (13.5) has others like apine allstars

I am about a size 12 or a 13 as well. Sidi make a few are one of the few companies that go up to a 13 in some of there boots. I am fairly sure the Vertebras go up to about a 13 (there all in stupid Euro sizes), however its only the black ones in sizes above about a size 11.

https://www.performancemotorcycleparts.com/ have a good selection of boots and a conversion chart for Euro to Uk sizes. However I would recomend trying them on before buying them, so I would try and find a local shop that will let you try them on first. Then you can pretend not to be interested after all and buy them online if its cheaper!

Prexport (imported by Fowlers of Bristol) go up to a size 14 and also cater for wide calfs. Amongst some of the most comfortable boots I have ever worn and they don't cost an arm or a leg either.

At 13 you shouldn't have a problem as I have an 11 right foot and a 14 left foot! Evil or Very Mad

You freak Razz . How do you get round that? Do you have to buy two pairs of boots or just make do with one boot too big?

It is not so much of being a freak, it is a legacy of the accident which left me crippled in my left foot which in time will be amputated so at least i will be able to return to my original size 11.

I do tend to buy two pairs of boots, although most of my older boots have now stretched so much that it doesn't cause too much of a problem at the moment. I am dreading having to buy replacement boots though! Wink
