I hate 64bit vista

It was already pissing me off before i had this problem.

I got the SBK08 game for ze pc, and wanted to use my old ps2 pad with it ( keyboard+bike game = fail ) anyway it used to work on my old machine, 32bit windows xp, where i didn't need drivers or jack shit, but vista doesn't even detect it, i've trawled through google for hours trying solutions, even trying different drivers etc, all failed.

then i tried my PS3 pad, windows recognised it straight away but the drivers you have to get for it don't yet support my 64bit OS which is suprisng as sony released 'official' drivers, i've tried other solutions to that and i've just spent the last 10mins uninstalling the ton of crap i have downloaded.

apart from installing a 32bit operating system on a partition i have no idea what i can do, i hate vista, it's all pretty and shit but fucking annoying. xp was ugly, crashed alot but stuff worked.

...any idea's? Laughing

Install XP under VMWare on your Vista PC then install your game on your XP VM.

I'm running an AMD quad core processor but i doubt that program will be of much use.

this sucks, i wasn't even bothered about having a 64bit machine but didn't think it would cause this much shit, i avoided vista for a while because of the usual shit you expect to get from a new os, but by now i thought it'd all be sorted. failed.

I know that means more outlay for you, but I haven't had any problems with mine on any games, it's a Microsoft/Microsoft thang!
