actually heated grips.

Always thought they were a bit naff to be honest but they came with the new bike.
First chilly morning today and could feel it through my gloves so though what he hell and switched the grips on.

Shocked absolute bliss and helps keep your fingers from getting stiff so a massive Thumbs Up from me.

also had an idea about getting some stickers made up that could be stuck on muppet cars / vans etc

3 types:
1. Mobile Moron: for those using their phone.
2. Mirrors aren't just for decoration: self explanatory
4. Indicators are not optional: ditto

maybe colour code them so that as a public service to other bikers if you stick it on the rear so that when they are approaching are warned of the offending motorist in advance.

just need to find a way of making them easy to peel off with gloves on .

What brand grips are they? After two shivery numb-handed winters riding I'm thinking of some.

I was cocking freezing this morning on the motorway. I think a heated jacket liner would be a good investment this year, plus some heated gloves perhaps. So expensive though Crying or Very sad

not sure i'll have a look and see if there are any markings on them however they look fairly cheap and cheerful with a basic 3 way switch. off, warm and ice age Smile

well worth getting and wish now i'd got them last year as well. even though we dont exactly get arctic conditions.

i prefer being able to wear my standard leather gloves which give plenty of tactile feedback compared to my winter gloves that feel like you are gripping the bars through a pillow.

If I saw you sticking a sticker on my car you'd get punched in the face.

Good idea.

I just remembered I had an accessory socket fitted earlier this year. A chance to use it at last Smile

+1 If you wouldn't like it done to your bike don't do it to others property.

as long as it leaves no trace then its better than the "kick the wing mirror off" mentality.

Oh well back to the drawing board Sad

Well I wouldn't mind it being done to my bike so I guess that gives me free reign to do whatever the hell I like. Stickers for everyone!

I have my grips on all year round it's cold at 90mph+ for half an hour, but I can't say I thought it was really cold this morning, now February that'll be cold. Mr. Green

What country are you in, can't be England? It's like being in a fan oven in the summer(when it's not pi$$ing down) at any speed.

I'd buy those - massive ones with extremely strong adhesive for the windscreen.

Or you could just live and let live. No one's immune to the odd burst of muppetry.
