Anyone been playing the game?

Comments on it vs WoW?

I am currently enjoying my time on it, finding it more endurable than WoW, slightly harder to get to grips with due to slower level increase but better in the long term.

PvP is enjoyable, far more so than the wannabe sport that is wow arena.

It has a few odd and quirky bugs that really shouldn't still be in there though but eh, its a fun diversion eitherway.

A mate at work has been trying to get me into this for weeks now, but I'm reluctant as I want to avoid the grind-a-thons that MMORPGs all seem to be these days.

How does it compare to WoW, Guild Wars, Everquest? And even EVE? Those are my frames of reference, y'see. Smile

Trying to avoid wasting £20-odd on something I'll play for 2 hours and delete in disgust. Confused

I'm finding warhammer to be much like wow really just with better and less cartoony graphics. All mmorpgs seem to end up being grind-a-thons eventually although for warhammer its taken me 3 days to reach that stage as oppossed to wow taking me 3 years.
