I want to copy a dvd onto my comp which usually isn't a problem using dvd shrink,but this one dvd wont have non of it.

Cant seem to get the sound to stay in sync,and it gets half way through copying then fucks up.

It's called a street a track an open road.(presented by suzi perry.)

If anyone is interested in watching it, could you tell me which (free)programme i could use to convert it to avi.

Hmmm 2 options

Dvd Santa
DVD decrypter

Both on the web, both should do the job.

You could create and iso copy using Nero or Alcohol 120% and then mount it with Daemon tools and copy the files out?

As for rencoding I think there is aprogram called cucusoft that is free>

Bot 100% on that one though.

the ones i normally use is the dvd shrink and then encode them using winavi 9.0 and if theres a delay in the audio of what ever you are converting there is a option to retard the audio so it can sync up with the video

I've got dvd decrypter,but it wont do it.(crashes about half way through)

Will give the other two a go.Thanks.

I have dvd shrink aswell,but again crashes about half way through.
(got a brand new copy of the disk to try now,so it might work this time)

That winavi 9.0 sounds great if it works Thumbs Up

I use DVDFab. Thumbs Up

And it is fab! Also rips to other formats (the platinum version). And I have never had any issues with it!
