Right.

I am fucking sick of being pissed about by mechanics who don't know their arses from their elbows.

If anyone near Banbury Oxon would be able to come take a look at my bike I would be prepared to give them cash and beer if they helped get it working.

The bike is a Derbi GPR50

I don't know what the problem is, nobody seems to be able to work it out.

WARNING: The bike is a shed and thanks to pikeys I now have no tools.

But if you reckon you could help the offer is there.

Cheers

Joe

Apart from the starter motor not workign and making a click sound from the relay only, when I try to bump it you can hear the piston goign up and down, but it's not firing even a little bit. I did a poor man's compression test and it seemed fine, there is a strong blue spark on a new plug, and petrol is definitely getting through the carbs.

IIRC did you not seize it one time, if so, did it have a rebuild since then? If so, who did it and has it worked fine since?

Ah, why did it seize again mate? 2-stroke oil or gearbox oil?

Cant imagine it would really run great if it hasnt been rebuilt or at least checked for scores etc.

I use Zoom Motorcyles in Oxfordshire.

Ian is a sound bloke. They do recovery. Ask them if they would come to Banbury.

Robsom Racing in Shipston-on-Stour is not far from you, he'll fix it and won't con you, he's got a van and can pick it up.

Nice one, I'll ring them both up in the morning.

My mate gets his Ninja done at Robsom Racing, but with a name like that I thought they were more about tuning than fixing 50ccs.
