Ok not THAT much but isnt it great that volvos are fitted with lights that dont go off in a country that gets incredibly dull and rainy and no one thinks of 'be safe be seen' and puts their lights on.

Even in the sun when I have my dark glasses on and go into a patch of shade - I always see teh volvo even if everything else is invisible Very Happy

Anyone know if there are any plans to make sure all cars come with permanatly on lights like they do with bikes!

Think it was proposed by rejected as a silly idea (lights on alledgedly makes your more visable, but screws up peoples perception of your speed)

Anyway, we need them on with Volvos so we get more warning that there is a Volvo driver in the area

All the best

Keith

Ya but thats one up we have over cars. If all cars have lights on all the time people will get used to them and then bikes will become even more invisable.
Bikes always need to do something unexpected to be seen by cagers.

well, youll love mike then!!!! (newbite)

but i disagee, i dont like the fact that volvos (&saabs i think) have there lights permenently on because when (i personally) see lights on in the day (whether in my car or on bike) i think that its either a bike or an emergancy veichal which in either case i could do with been more cautious!!

and by us there are speed humps and if a cars got his/her lights on then it looks like there flashing you out and eventually everyoue will blend in and be dazzled all day long!.

so... i dont think it would be a good idea!

Well it would at least be a good idea if light had a chip in that made them come on when the ambient light got dull cos they never think of it themselves.

The dull mornings I travel to work a dark car is invisible when the twonk inside hasnt put their lights on!

Novas have neons, don't they? Razz...I don't think that their batteries can handle having the headlights on at the same time.

Fianally someone else that likes volvos! they are cute Cool with the little mini wipers on the lights to get rid of dead flys, and heated leather seats! Also enough space in the boot to hide at least 4 dead bodies Razz

I think keith is right though! volvo drivers are crap. I think the drivers think they are driving a lorry or something (easily done Wink)
