Been out for a little ride tonight, only to realise about 5-10 miles from home my lights were gone, think all the electrics are actually, neutral light, indicators, everything.... Head light was working, think that runs off the engine though...

They must have been working when i set out, because i started the bike no problem and the nuetral light etc worked fine.

I must have been past about 10 police cars, parked ones too, suprised they never stopped me.

This bloke flashed me in on my way back and told me i had no lights on the back so he offered to follow me home. Wish id caught his name, going to write a thankyou letter or something in the echo, really nice bloke.

My dad said had i been stopped id be in shit with the police like Sad Supose iv been lucky but im still worried they can do something lol.

Anyways going to have a look at the electrics tommorow, any ideas on whats happened? Its a Peugeot XP6 50cc btw

Thanks

Exact same happened to me on the monkey. Got home and it was a blown fuse. Covered it in tin foil until i got a new one. Thumbs Up

Check you have good connections to the battery first.
Then find your fuses.
If it's not obvious where there's a problem, make a simple tester to see where you have/haven't power using a bulb and bit of wire.

As above. Check battery connections first, then fuses.

Almost certainly where your problem is.

If none of above it could be the ignition, mines got a dodgy ignition connection in that if the key is at a very specific angle the electrics won't work, so I jiggle it abit and bam they come back on.
I've got a new one just too lazy to replace it.

Tail light went out once, didn't notice it, police did though. Got away with a warning. You got lucky!
