Thought episode 6 was mint! Though two things proper fucked me off.
WHY doesnt matt use his powers, ever, and how come the only time we've seen him use them, he's dreaming about the fucking future? NOT his power. Especially with Daphne. Why couldnt he read her mind? Fag.
And Claire. I mean, shes a great character, but ffs, her mum knows she can survive anything. She has SEEN her daughter walk out of a nuclear building, for christs sake. Yet they needed to get all emotional to shoot her? If I was the Puppeteer, i would have been suspicious that she said "Do what you have to do...It's me, remember." Yeah. Alright then.
Other than that, thought it was a bit of a corker
Quite enjoyed Peter as a badass, Sylar as a reformed fella, and my god, what fucking power has Arthur got? Im feeling its some form of advanced empath ability, a bit like Matt and his Dad, where matt can recieve and occasionally send, whereas his Dad can produce hallucinations etc?
And how did Matts dad get out of the mind prison??
So many questions. I can feel that they're getting back to their old ways with this season. Doesnt feel as artistic as last season.
Glad Hiro and Ando are back to their old comic ways as well, much better

See, most people seem to be hatin' on that story line, but I quite like it.
Why is it so unusual that he would crave a power?
And why is it so unbelievable that his unstable mental state was pushed over the edge with his serum? Perfectly believable. Well. In a sense
I like bad suresh. Wish he'd kick more arse though, instead of staying holed up.
The company aint looking so bad compared to Pinehurst now eh? ____________________ "Oh....it looks like Average Joe's is forfeiting the match!" - "Yeah, its a risky strategy but lets see if it pays off for 'em Cotton." |

I thought it was a bit random how Hiro and Ando joined up to Pinehearst, just seemed like minute they are chashing the formula, then out of the blue Knox shows up and they sign up......
I agree about Matt though, thing is his character is set up as the good cop, just wants to do right and be somebody, therefore he probably feels that reading everyones mind is immoral and not the right thing to do, so wil only do it when he feels absolutely necessary. Thats another thing though, why the hell did he take on African mans powers temporarily? My best guess is that you saw him eating some shite out of a bowl an he says "this aint working", its only when African dude puts his headphones on him that his eyes change, so im guessing what he was eating was some sort of hallucinogen, and maybe some kind weird tribal spirit music in the headphones to put him in that state of mind, since they bothy kept on muttering about "Spirit walks".
Arthur petrelli obviously has the power to absorb anyones powers through contact, this would make sense in light that peter petrelli is his son, therefore has inherited the same power, albeit peter absorbs spontaneously just from being around someone.
Claires character is super gay now, she was important in the first season, but now sylar has her power she's no longer relevant really. Going around trying to do what her dad does with a fucking taser?? Give me a break, she;d be wise enough to know now that bullets arent really effective against most of these guys. I can only think that there must be something in the pipeline for her, perhaps in the next chapter, and hence they have to keep her around and keep her busy.
Also with Sylar, when he fights with Peter at the end of the last episode - I dont get why Peter was able to overpower him, sylar really should have the most powers out of anyone given the amount of people he has slaughtered. I have a feeling that by the end of this chapter, Sylar will ultimately turn out to be the Knight in Shining armour.

Yeah I know about Arthur, that was my point that Peter has a very similar ability as his Dad, just like Matts power is fairly weak compared to matts Dads powers.
I get why peter beat the shit out of sylar (I thought it was a pretty good fight scene, though could have done with more powers? They totally dont use the cool factor of the show to its potential I dont think...but then I suppose they arent supposed to be "Superheroes" just normal people with powers)
Sylar is getting more and more friendly, and Im assuming now that he doesnt want to fight his brother, but at the same time wants Peters help to save his mother.
Also, Sylar doesnt have that many powers. Whatever Powers sylar has, peter has them aswell, plus peter has a few more, such as flying etc.
I thought it was good near the end where peter seemed to revive a few older powers too. The electricity was a rather nice touch
Also.
I bet Arthur doesnt realise he now has "The hunger" Should provide a few laughs within Pinehurst. Mind you, doesnt seem to be bothered about killing people.
So, we have Peter with no powers (or so we assume) and without the hunger....fair enough. maybe the writers realised it wasnt a strong storyline to have all the main good guys turning into bad boys.
Hmm. Logistics behind Arthur taking Peters powers. He should, technically, NOT get all of peters borrowed powers. he should just get the empath ability. Which yes, would allow him to have all the powers Peter has. BUT...Peter should have retained his powers.
I need to get on a heroes discussion forum i think, not tons of people interested here ____________________ "Oh....it looks like Average Joe's is forfeiting the match!" - "Yeah, its a risky strategy but lets see if it pays off for 'em Cotton." |

Well, in a roundabout way, he became his dads ultimate weapon. how many powers does Arthur now have
Have you seen the trailer for Ep7 anyone?
Arthur to Peter as he walks out as Peter is locked up and helpless: "Until you change that attitude, son, you're grounded."

I never thought about Arther having "The hunger". Could well be what brings about his downfall.

Tbh, Sylar, if you think about it, wasnt doomed to downfall because of the hunger.
He just had a change of morality.
I think the Hunger would be embraced by Arthur, tbh.
Actually, fuck that. I think Arthur would probably be well equipped to deal with the hunger, if Sylar is learning how to.
Arthur knows what his own power is perfectly capable of. He sucked out peters easily, then very quickly knew how to display the electricity to show peter.
Im quite adamant that Arthur shouldnt have been able to take peters borrowed powers! he should only have taken to non-contact empath ability! The only explanation I can think of is that Peter still has his powers, so when arthur took the empath ability, he took on peters straight away. But then I cant explain peters non-powers.
