Hey All
Went and done my DAS back in August.

As I was a bit throttle happy and not very good on the clutch (only had 3 day course), they suggested satying on the 125 for the A2 licence (or the way I was with the throttle, end up in the wall half a mile up the road)

So went for the A2, put by foot down on the turn in the road. Perfect ride otherwise, but still a fail.

I phoned the training centre up to rebook. A nightmare, not yet, not yet, nothing till November, as Basingstoke is not booking tests.

She also wanted to charge me £270 for a 3 hour lesson and a test.
I phoned another company who quoted £320 for 8.30-1 lesson then 8.30 till test (at 2.15) lesson.

This sounded better to me, and could get me in next week.

First time riding in the rain on Tuesday, but was a piece of piss.
Then Wednesday (Test day), nice day, bit cold but who cares.

Went for the test, started pissing down (Thank god it rained tuesday for me to get used to it)

Was a bit nervous till I done the turn in the road, as i failed on that before.
Cos of the nerves and the rain, I missed a couple of right live savers, but minor ones not major ones.

Done the turn in the road. in my head, YES YES YES. I know I can ride, done it before.

Heading back to the test centre. I'm thinking, it aint been half hour, s**t.

Got back, walked in, he asked the pillion question.
Then he said, congrats.
YES. (and it had been half hour)

2 minors for my life saver
1 Minor cos I pulled from the side of the road with a van coming (the van was half a mile up the road, I was off without him slowing down)

Although its an A2, its still a license. And in 2 years, a full licence for nothing.

Thank god they prosponed the new tests, I got in before.
