I'm bored at work so thought i's share my diy exhaust repair for a laugh.

items needed: 1 x beer can (cheapest possible no drinking and driving Smile ), tin foil (strongest available) and wire.

voila - got me back from the ace cafe to reading.

My Gamma 125 went through it's last MOT with a boddingtons can jubilee clipped over a hole in the expansion chamber, as I set off from the car park it blew through the can and deafened everyone around.

It now has a Road Closed sign welded over the hole Cool

[edit]

I remember a BCF Northerners ride where I was led under my 125 attaching a piece of plate metal pack over the hole, as kitty kat distracted a couple of bike cops that were stood next to me Laughing

Cant beat a good old bodge Thumbs Up

Beans and soup cans also work well as they have a bit more thickness to them.

Two coke cans, exhaust putty in between and a pair of hose clips at the ends FTW.. Smile

Fixed a car with that the day before trading it in and the Divvy as well. Smile
