Lock it to something or it will be lifted into a van. |

I like it
What size tyres are you using there on the YBR? and how much did they cost?

you can't see in the picture but it is attatched to a ground anchor. I don't know what size they are but I got them from
https://stores.ebay.co.uk/RoundAndBlack/Round-And-Black-Shop-Front-Page.html
The guy was brilliant and sent them the same day. It was (inc P and P) roughly £90 for both tyres. I've only had my bike for 2 days, and only have my old scooter to compare them with, but they really seem to stick to the road! |

The Yamaha YBR125 uses the same sized tyres as the Honda CG125. 2.75-18 front, 90/90-18 rear.
I put these tyres on the Honda CG125 after the original Pirelli City Demons.
The Michelin Pilot Sporty is a tubeless and tube type tyre, the front has just over 3.5mm tread and the rear just over 4.5mm tread from new.
The Pirelli City Demons had the same amount of tread from new.
The Michelin is light years ahead of the Pirelli, in grip, cornering, control, feeling and comfort. The Pirelli was a good tyre for old technology and commuting, the Michelin is modern technology and wants to go round bends. Only problem with the Michelin is it really makes you wish you had 4 times the horse power, no way twice the horsepower would do, the Yamaha and Honda are between 10 and 11 horse power.
I have been riding bikes for 13 years, nearly all that on bikes over 125cc.
The review below is of the Pilot Sport, the tyre the Pilot Sporty is based on, I would say the Pilot Sporty is very like the review in every way including the Silicium tread compound, except it’s not a radial tyre.
