It whistles sometimes if you have your head cocked and the wind is in the right direction. Laughing

My head was cool and sometimes too cold in the summer due to the ventilation system, its very good!

DD strap and comfy lining, good.

Pinlock insert, excellent.

Weight, very light (1350g)

Matching my ZX7R, priceless!

Im on my third XR1000. Ive worn them through all weathers and even had to try them out for real. My first one was retired after a 60(ish) mph off where I landed on ym shoulder and the back of my head. I was so impressed I havent worn a different one yet.

They feel fairly light, are well made, pinlock is fantastic, not the quietest lid in the world but the vents do work well.

Heres mine, I love it....

i bought a black one when i first completed my cbt. kinda got sold it by the cbt company :p bastards! paid 240 for it but after actually looking on the itnernet there were nice ones with designs. had an off on it and it did it's job.

went to mcn show on the last day and got a colour scheme helmet xr 1000 again since i was happy with the first.

paid 240 for it when they were 340 at the time.

my friend bought a cheap hjc helmet for 89 quid and the top part comes off when he takes the lid off his head. his brother got the same helmet and the red bit you hold to fasten the helmet is ripped. that's after 3 or so months. my shoei has lasted me 2 and a half years or so.

i bought a pinlock visor and that's great. make sure you get one in your box when you buy. i had one but i threw the box away. admittedly i didn't know what the orange thing was back then until 2 months ago when i found out you put it in your visor using the 2 white hole things and it doesn't mist.

i had a hawaai visor cleaner stick sales guy at the mcn show ask to demonstrate on my helmet and when i gave it to him he said wow that's light.

it comfy, light and some designs look amazing. (i personally feel better than arai and anyone else). the finish on the helmet is top class. people say it is quite noisy which i don't know since i havent worn anything else but who cares about ears.
