Hi,

i'm thinking of purchasing a Piaggio MP3 250 when i pass my full motorbike license but was wondering whether, as my first motorbike, it would mean i would have to pay an extortionate amount for my insurance (bearing in mind i am 19 years old).
Would it be better to pass and buy a low powered bike, if so any suggestions....and basically i am looking to use the mp3 250 on 30minute motorway stints.

I'm 19 and pay 700 quid insurance on my current ZX6, i wouldn't say it was that pricey bearing in mind I'm 19.

I'm still chuffed when I get a quote cheaper than a grand
