I hope not. I just dropped a (can't even describe it as a turd) mess, in the outside loo (yes I have one of those). Didn't smell too good at all and to make things worse I had a rollie whilst I was doing it.

There was a Godzilla eating spider in the corner of the ceiling that had moved a good 6 inches by the time I was done.

Did it smell my poo or did the smoke annoy it?

Conversely, he might have been surreptitiously moving in on you to bite your naked arse.
Shocked

They're sly like that, spiders.
Nasty pieces of work.

Well you crapped and smoked in his non smoking home (spiders are renowned for anti smokers) I am sure he took exception to that Tut Tut

He will be back for revege and will pooh and lay eggs on your carpet.

He will probably have a petition out for ban smoking in loos next. Neutral

Scientists say... Chemical senses are also important to spiders, both those for taste and those for smell. Little is known about some of the spider's sense of smell, though we know they have one. The tarsal organs (small pits on the dorsal side of each tarsus) are now believed to be moisture detectors. Taste, which might b called chemical perception through direct contact, is better understood. The average spider has hundreds of chemoreceptive hairs most found on the tarsi of its first legs. Spiders can be seen to reject a prey item after touching it. Chemical receptors are also used during courtship.

Yes! They do have a sense of smell lol, but nobody knows what its for.... until now!!

Well apparently chesnut oil is supposed to repel spiders, so that would assume they do have a sense of smell. If you spray raid in the vicinity they leg it too, even before the nerve agent has effect, so I would guess they can smell that aswell.

He was distracting you, whilst his spider buddies lined up under the rim. Once you finished befouling they bungeed up your anal sphincter to lay eggs. Give it a few days and you'll have poo covered spider babies crawling out of your eye sockets.

When I was a kiddie we always kept conkers in the house to repel spiders, so unless they object to the colour and shape I'm guessing it's the smell they don't like Wink

I'll upset you all by spoiling the fun.

Tis cos Nicotine is a fairly potent insecticide, blow smoke at spiders gently and they bugger off ASAP.

Stick some wasps in a upturned pint glass, blow in smoke, and watch them spasm on the floor for 20 minutes before buggering off (after you remove the pint glass).

Although if you were doing a handstand and it was a fairly 'spattery' effort... ? Thinking
