Seems like any other October for me. At least we have had a prolonged period of dryness not shitty rain.

Saying that, at least a chill gives me an excuse to light the fire, kick back and do some reading.

Certainly different to the last two years where it was mild and wet with no sign of winter.

Much prefer a real autumn and hopefully a real winter.

Hope not, I already had my annual dose of snow by being in NZ during their winter. I don't be wanting no more. This was not the plan. My plan was to be there in summer and HERE in summer, not the other bloody way round Laughing

I do like cold crisp dry autumns, though.
With those sort of sunshiney days that the coldness makes the sunshine so much more special.

Anyone else think it's going to be a real cold winter this year?

No. I think it's going to be another mild one, and not as wet as last year.

I'm praying for this. Anything below 20 degrees at any time of year is unacceptable!
