Where can I get a small syringe without looking like a smackhead? I need an easy way to fill my scottoiler without putting oil all over my exhaust. Cheers Laughing

look next to the calpol in chemists, they usually have wide mouthed ones for babies and stuff. Though surely most smackhead sized syringes would be too small, you'd want something like a paint one*, tried screwfix?

*I'm assuming such a thing exists, if not, it should it sounds handy.

I've just been given a 5ml one by the Vet for giving medicine to the kittens - it's not very useful, as I'd get more in the kitten if I threw the whole bottle at him - you want it, I can post it Rolling Eyes

Agricultural suppliers or vets.

Go for a 20ml with a "luer fitting", these fit exactly into the end of the rubber thingy on your scotoiler so you can prime it too.

I sell them out at 53p each.

You still get oil all over the place by the way, the only way round it is to attach a short bit of tube to the end of the syringe so it's actually stuck all the way in through the hole.

You aren't going to look like a junkie buying 20ml syringes. Biggest syringe I could imagine a junkie using is 2ml and even that is far too big for the amounts they are injecting.

eBay or a vets.

It's not worth trying to get them from Boots or other chemists, just got "sorry we don't sell those" and other bollocks excuses, and one gave me a leaflet for a needle exchange program. Rolling Eyes

If I remember (and if i have an empty bottle) I can give you a bottle of the Scotoiler (with no oil I am afraid) when we go to Big D's. They have a long tube on which plugs into the hole covered by the rubber breather seal.

Local fishing tackle shop, used for injecting fish oils into dead baits.

The needle is wide enough for oils.

Fill up your scotoiler? what ever for?

as said £1 spent on some plastic tube from a fish supplier (I mean like fish tanks)

and you yes YOU can have yourself an even bigger than the magnum scotoiler upgrade, I managed it in Spain with minimal tools.

I'll go one easier (and free). All it takes is some balls.

Go to Boots and ask for a sted Kit. Comes with shit loads of free goodies. Alcohol wipes, sharps bin, sharps and syringes.

Think of what you can use them for... for free Thumbs Up

How big is this sharps bin? Wonder if it'd make a good hard pannier Laughing

I don't know though, would feel a bit wrong walking into Boots and saying "I'm a stedhead, please give me needles!"

You'd only feel wrong if they were being used for that purpose. Trust me on that, when I asked for that reason I was a bit weird. But I'd go in with a chirp smile tomoro if I actually needed a few needles for something intriguing.

As for the sharps bin, the things about 4 inches x 1 inch x 7 inches. Not massive. Still got mine upstairs come to think of it Thinking
