I need some (cheap) 35mm clipons for my cb550 sprint bike, it would be easier to find a set if I knew what other bikes are fitted with 35mm forks.
Does any one know of any off the top of there heads?
I don't really want to pay much more than £30 for a set.

Hi

Suspect it would be cheaper to pick up some race ones of the right size (even 2nd had) rather than trying to find some road bike ones (which would have a premium being original). LSL do some for about £100 but you should be able to get some a hell of a lot cheaper than that.

Found an old catalogue with Race Products 35mm clip ons for £35 but they do not seem to have them on their web site anymore.

All the best

Keith

Clip-ons on a sprint bike? Confused

You could probably fit Ace bars (also known as Jota bars because they were fitted as standard to the Laverda of the same name) using the standard clamps.

Most sprint bikes I've seen have wide, straight bars to give better control of a light front-end.

Hitchcocks have some on their website for £35 (need to add postage & VAT), look under Accessory Catalogue, Frame/Chassis, Handlebars/Fixings - they're second from bottom.
