it will be more than that. i would do a 125 4 stroke every 2000 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first.

Should probably be in workshop, if anyone cares.

I would change the oil every 1000 miles in a bike like that and use a cheap mineral oil. Filter every 4000 miles, unless they're very cheap.

This may or may not be necessary, but I know Honda singles from the 70s and 80s used to need oil changes this regularly to keep the top end sweet. I assume the same is still largely true.

I assumed that was because of a lack of oil filter (only a gauze screen in CB250RS for example).
