Hi!
I have a Speedfight 2 100cc which has problems starting. Left it standing for a couple of months and needed to jump start it from a car. it works fine for a day or two, then does not like starting again very much. battery gets more and more empty as it takes longer by the day to start up.

i must add i have no kick start (bought 2nd hand).

sparkplug is not smudged. has good 2stroke oil as well. cleaned air filter, but realised it is not sucking in air very strong when placing hand over it (when filter is open).

any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks!

check the immobiliser and record the beeping when you turn it on...

Does it flash twice and stay on? IF SO... it's your immobiliser causing the problem.

i don't think it's the immobilser. when the key is not in ignition lamp blinks which is normal. when key is in the ignition: one long blink, two short blinks, then light is off.

I have now ordered a kickstart on ebay, so once it starts working again i will at least have another means of starting it up.

anyone has any other ideas? is this common with SF 2's?
