I think we should promote the forum more, try to get more new members other than the trickle from NSR125.com
Anyone have any ideas on how we could get some advertising?
Maybe some Stickers etc.
We REALLY need T-shirts and hoodies for RnB so they need sorting *cough*Bendy*cough*Very Happy
I'd quite happily have a BCF Sticker on my bike (If we ever get a logo sorted).

Looking at doing some t-shirts next month hopefully, once the ol' money situation has settled down a bit. I shall be nagging you all shortly about what designs and sizes you want, as I'd like the first lot to be pretty much sold before I order them.

Yeah... someone do the fecking LOGO!! Then we can easily get stickers sorted out. Still think 'bikechatforums' is a bit nerdy tho Smile

I must say i'd quiet happily plaster my bike in whatever advertising we could come up with to promote the place (/me prays we dont become VD v2.0)

and i REALLY want one of those skull and crossbones 'it's cursed you know'/'i must not stack my bike' designs. hoodie, longsleeve, t-shirt i'll take em all Razz

I've looked at cafepress and the other online printing places (we use them on several sites I run) and I'm not overly impressed on the whole.
I do think we'd be better ordering a run from somewhere - a place I was looking at was very competitively priced and once you had the screen done would print onto virtually anything, and had a really good range of colours and items.

We'd better have a 'come up with a sexier url' thread then.

I would be inclined to do that as a url-less design, purely cos I reckon I could sell a few of those to other places!

How muh is it to get an advert in some of the biking magazines? Such as Biker, Rider, and maybe even biketrader. I think something like that will get loads of people visiting.

Maybe if we did a bit of a leaflet spam as well! I know loads of notice boards that i could chuck a few on and perhaps hand them out at some bike meets Razz

On a down side if the forum gets too big it may loose its community like atmosphere Smile

Just a thought.

I agree with that. A sudden influx of ppl would turn this place into the next visordown

Some banners/ flags at events to drap on vans/ tents/ whatever will get the place noticed. Needs to be a catchy easy to remember URL as well Smile

Plus putting it in a magazine would actually kill the server as well Confused
