I need a new front disc to get my TW 125 through its MOT. I've fount the section on M&P, but the array of different types is confusing me. Do I want organic front, sintered front or left front? I've only just done the pads so the disc is all I need.

Should still put new pads on it really, but meh. You want left front by the way. I'm sure the sintered and organic lark is referring to pads even though you're on the disk page. Thumbs Up

The pads were a couple of weeks ago. Having looked at the other (cheaper) options I think you're right that they are pads. Should have realised it would be the £40 option rather than the £14

Get new pads with a new disc. I know from experience that using even slight used pads with a new will cause scoring or worse (warping).

I have always been advised new discs = new pads.

As above.

A few extra quid isn't much compared to warping a brand-new disc.

That's annoying. If I'd known that I would have got a new disc when I bought the pads.
