Okay, before you ask
'What bike should I get?', 'How much will it cost?', 'What're they like?' etc..
Have a quick look at these. Wink

Helpful... but not entirely accurate, i get 105mpg on my YBR125 sitting at motorway speeds and got 75mph this morning.

Maybe i'm being overly picky but it is helpful, nice find.

Look at what they think of the Honda CG125 vs the Yamaha YBR125.

No way is the Yamaha equal in build quality to the Honda.
Yamaha = Made in China
Honda = Made in Brazil (at least it has for the last several years).

Motorcycle News has reviewed both bikes and have a different opinion.

Maybe this should be moved to the New Bikers section of the forum Thumbs Up

Sachs XTC's are great bike regardless to what people say.
They are comfy and reliable when looked after - i've owned mine only 4 weeks now but it has been a dream to date. The acceleration is good, corners like a dream because of how light it is and they sound nice too - not to mention them being modelled on the Ducati SS.

Depending on which you go for, speed or sound, depends on whether you should look at a 2 stroke or 4 stroke. This is the same with any 125 not just the Sachs.

4 strokes sound more beefy, where as 2 strokes are more nippy.

Hope this helps.

Why post this and then again minutes later in the newbies section?
