Hello guys, kind of a stupid one here. In rushing to get away quickly yesterday I stupidly forgot to remove my disc lock. It has put a little dent in the casing meaning the bolt will not open. It is a motrax sirca;

https://www.inter-bike.co.uk/inter-bikeshop/default.asp?numperpage=1&images=on&display=full&categoryid=210&searchstr=SP01&itemname=Motrax%20Sirca%20Disc%20Lock%20(Motorcycle%20Disc%20Lock)

Now my question is how can I get the badger off? More anoyingly is the fact that it is currently stuck in the middle of the town...

I've attatched a picture of where the dent is, hopefully showing what is wrong. Any help will be much appreciated.

Joe

I was just thinking how often people forget to remove their disc lock the other day when I saw the Spidi jacket with the built in airbags that inflate when you come off your motorcycle. I wonder how often people people will end up with a red face after getting off at the end of their ride without undoing the cable.

https://www.spidi.it/images/products/d09_b.jpg

CHARACTERISTICS- technical any weather jacket, with air bag. SAFETY PROTECTIONS- shoulder, elbow and forearm CE removable protectors. It comes with back protector "Back Part 65 CE". Air bag. Once the air bag is released, 3.5 meters of 11 cm. diameter cushions inflate to protect the entire bust, sacral area, shoulder blade and, very important, the cervical area. From the releasing of the air bag, in the first 0.4 seconds, the upper cushions inflate to protect the neck area, in the next 0,4 seconds the DPS inflates completely.

A big set of bolt croppers would cut through it quite easily, or you need an angle grinder.

And possibly the V5 about your person, should someone actually care enough to call the police whilst you're setting-to with gusto!

If you get totally stuck. Get a replacement disc. Take the wheel off, remove the disc, fit the new one.

If you've damaged the disc, you might want to do this anyway.
