Thats a tidy bike! I like it, especially in red.

It slightly resembles an SV, i like all the angles on it.

Thumbs Up

Sorry but i actually think the plastics on the bike does not do it justice, sorry just my opinion. Looks like most of the newer bikes are trying to look more futuristic with the plastics.

funny you should say that mate, i took it to 160 with a shit load of weight in the box up the M6 and i can say that the front end gets a wee bit er... light Smile

i swapped my TL1000r for it plus a few grand, i am totally sold on yamaha bikes now. They are the future. Just need a go of an R1 to see the difference in engine tuning.

I was completely stunned at how good this bike was when i first got on it. handles amazing and the power is just immense. Never seems to stop pulling.

If anyone commutes as much as i do (bout 18,000 miles a year) i cant guarantee these bikes enough. Worth every penny

If I needed a more comfortable bike than the sportsbikes I want to go for, this bike would be top of my list.

when my bike was in for a service (which they fucked up) i ended up with one for 3 days and i can honestly say it's the best bike i've ever ridden. Its comfy, fast and the misses came for a ride (on the back) but... i love sportsbikes so i bought the 10r.

if i was a tad older or wanted to do a few miles i'd defenatly be looking for one!

exactly what happened to me, the clutch went on the TL and they gave me this bike as the loaner, and it never went back. Had sooo much confidence in it after a few hours riding that was missing on the TL. i didnt care that it put me out of pocket by another 3 grand, it had to be mine.

As i do a shag load of miles it suites me down to the ground, getting itchy about having a dabble on the R1 now though...

How you finding it?

Always liked the Fazers as I like the upright riding position, but undecided on whether I want go for the 600 or the 1000, nor do I know if I want an old one or the newer ones. I know the newer ones have a smaller tank and is meant to be less comfy Question
