SO i picked up my GSX600F on Monday evening and had a bit of a ride in the dark on the way home. Have been using it to get to and from work (in the dark and rain!) all week.
Today was a great day, considering the season (dry, not too cold even a bit of sunshine into the mix!) so went out for a pleasure ride with my mate - who has only been riding his 600 for a couple of months too.
Absolutely loved every second of it! We took an aimless meandering tour of the Aberdeenshire countryside covering A, B,C roads and a bit of dual carriage way too. I even accidentally managed to get some air too due to a humpback bridge! I saw we were approaching it and slowed accordingly. As i got pretty much on it thought i was going too slowly so twisted the throttle a bit- my mate who was following reckons i got both wheels about a foot off the ground! Had to stop for a calming caffeine and nicotine break shortly after that one!
Can't believe i haven't gotten round to riding a bike til now - bloody parents! |

Just be careful with them humpback whales, they can sometimes have hidden delights in the drop ...I remember one time I came absolutely flying over one, only to be confronted with a car pulling out of a bay at the side of the road... soon as I landed had to go onto wrong side of road and back in, before stopping to remove my rapidly filled drawers. ____________________ Suzuki GSX-R750K4 ~ Mivv GP |
