Hi, just recently bought a peugeot speed fight 100cc..everything works fine it's just passed it's MOT..but i find it's going through petrol like theres no tomorrow..I'm lucky if i get 80 miles on a full tank..

Some people who own the same bike are claiming to get 150+ miles on a full tank, could there be a mechanical reason why my bike would only get 80 out of a full tank...i rarely go over 30 mph so i cant see the way i ride being the cause..

Sounds like the auto choke has packed up, or the power supply to it is bad.

The best thing to do if the choke if faulty is contact someone like p.m. tuning and buy a manual choke kit, they cost about a tenner and eliminate the overfueling/poor economy you get when the choke fails (auto chokes usualy fail in the open position causing all sorts of problems).
