I have a CBR600F (1999) and it was all working fine, until i suddenly went back to it about an hour later and it wouldnt move off!

it starts perfectly, stick it into 1st and the bikes engine shuts off and a little light pops up (i think its like a key sign)! the light is just above the temperature gauge!

anyone have any idea what this could be?

pleeease help!

It's likely to be the side stand switch.
Knock the stand up and down a few times and try start it again.

Paddy.

It was the peril of my FZR! Even cutting the engine out when stopped at a junction or lights.

It was absolutely caked in road going gunk but even after a damn good clean it just cut out hence why the wire snips came out in the end to short the switch.
