Guy bought a new house and got up 3 bikes for sale to fund the house, he lives in same town as me.

It's a 1998 Kawasaki ZX6R aparently in excelent condition

I e-mailed the guy and he said he would let it go for £1200

Seems a bit of a bargain?

Depends what condition it's actually in. Go and look at it.

Looks pretty good, you'll need to know the millage really. And if he has documentation to go alongside the bike.

Thumbs Up

Depends how much it's worth to him, I guess. How much he paid initially, the work he's done on it etc.

I would take a mechanically minded friend along to have a look over it with you, and make sure you take it for a spin - or at least let him take you pillion.

Find out why it's for sale too.

Also, it might be worth checking other bikes of same make/model out, do a search for a forum for that exact bike.
