It's a full superstock spec bike and it absolutely flies. Razz

Got a set of unpainted fairings up the loft for it. Just put the scabby set on for the trackday.

May brighten up the other set at the end of the year.

Hopefully going to race it this year or next. Depends on how slow I turn out to be.

It wasn't too bad for an R6 with the spec that it has. Wink

Doesn't look long, just wide (Twisted the clipon round a bit more)

Does the angle of the clippon change the amount of turning force or is it the actual length?

I like Randy de Puniet, his bars are extra wide on his Playboy honda Very Happy

Aye, gives you a little more leverage on the bike, making it a bit easier to turn. I may swing them back slightly. They are a bit of a reach, but not majorly. The length would make a bigger difference however.

Aye Randy De-Puniet looks like he's riding a sit up and beg roadster half the time. Laughing

I think the clutch clip on just looks really long because of the absence of any switch gear on that side.

It must have been expensive otherwise he would have told us. Its superstock spec so probably rather pricey

£10,000 for an actual superstock bike with all the bits

Nah, i reckon he got it cheap.

If he got it cheap, then he *wouldn't* have an excuse to ride it like a fanny. Esp if it's been fettled with and is making a delicious amount of power.

Don't forget... it's superstock, not supersport - the clue is in the name. The list of superstock modifications allowed is much smaller Wink

Spot on Silver.

Although for a brand new build you're looking at 10k including the bike as Luke says.

I got it for just under 5k.

Spec is:

Ohlins TTX Shock (2008 spec, Integrated hydraulic preload)
Bitubo 25mm fork cartridges
BMC Race Air Filter
PCIII Mapped by Phil Seton (120bhp on Seton dyno, you can probably see his sticker on the seat unit in some of the shots)
Micron Serpant Headers modified by MHP
MHP end can
Arata Rearsets
SES clips ons (I think)
GB Racing engine protectors
520 C & S with loads of sprocket sizes
Venhill Quick action throttle
Dunlop WOW too

Engine is completely stock.

It's been good enough for a pole in Bemsee stocksport, so I know the bike is more than capable. It's just a case of getting me capable.

As for chucking it down the road, that's an occupational hazard and unless I bust the frame or motor it's not going to be mega bucks. I'd rather not crash if I'm honest.

Laughing
