What bike is it? , in that my NTV has a reg rec with two green and two red , but looking closely at the circuit diagram the green and reds both merge into a single wire shortly after the connector.
Check the circuit diagram to see, ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will. In the end, your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching. |

It's a Swedish import GSX400FWS so the manual is a bit difficult.
I'll do a bit of probing. ____________________ If you dont like the way that I ride.......Stop trying to keep up!!! |

Yes it will work if its rated the same or higher than the old ones current output
the yellow are your three phase in from the alternator/stator, red is 12v postive out black is 12v negtive out to your battery
the green needs to be connected to a 12v supply thats on when the ingtion is on this is part of the reagulation for the 12v dc output on this type of rectifier. ____________________ Past:NRG50,AF1125(x2),NSR125RR,ZZR250,CX500,VFR400,KR1S,ZZR600(x2),CB400N,YZF1000(x2),KH125,Z200,FX400R,CBR954RR(x2)GPZ500S,GT550,VFR750F(x2),RD350N,XR650R,CBR600F,CB250,KDX250,YZF750R,CRM250,400EXC,KLR650,TTR600RE,DR350S,R100GSPD,RGV250,VMAX1200,DL650,KZ750 Present:G650XC,C12,CRF450X,1190ADV |

I have to say when I fitted a Honda regulator on my GS550 I had an extra wire that had to be connected to a switched live (I used the feed to the flasher relay as I recall). Only way to be sure is to check the schematic of the bike it came off. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
