hi guys
i am new on here.
i have a yamaha thundercat which i have recently dropped(hit a drain cover on a roundabout during some torrential rain) and i need a respray, it could have been doing with one anyway.
i want it done solid red as i am going to put decals on it too.
any ideas where i could get one done at a reasonable price.
thanks, chris

Have you tired any of your local bodyshops? If that's not an option, how handy are you with a rattle can?? Laughing
If you got time on your hands and somewhere to do it you can get hold of spray guns fairly easy, it's just a case of hard work doing all the prep, rubbing down etc.

Done quite a few myself and it's all down to prep and the environment you have to paint in. First one I did I had to do outside in winter lol, hardly great but it did the job and got me several hundred quid profit Razz 2nd one I had use of a garage and it was ALOT better but still not a pro job, but for the sake of several hundred quid it's well worth it to me.

Cost me about 120 quid for everything the first time, cloths, panel wipe, hardeners etc but it's abit cheaper now as I only need paint.

Either way still alot cheaper then 500+ for a pro respray.
